What does membership give you?

Why join the Autism Society of Larimer County?

Has your child just been diagnosed and there's no one to turn to? Heard about a new treatment for autism and you want to learn more? Just need someone to talk to who understands?
 

Valuable Peer Support

Support meetings bring together parents and families who are dealing with the same emotions, some joyful and some painful, that you may be experiencing. Joining the ASLC allows you to share with and learn from others.
 

Local Information and Referral

Volunteers who have gained experience and knowledge regarding your local school systems, doctors, and other service providers are part of the ASLC membership. By joining the ASLC, you can gain this same knowledge through chapter meetings and discussions with other chapter members.
 

Social Oppertunities for your Child

The ASLC provides our quarterly autism-friendly birthday party. Three times a year for a one time free of $5 per ASLC member family (yes you read that right $5/family) we supply pizza, cake, gift bags and a bouncing great time at our local Pump It Up! Each registered child recieves a invitation to the party. When your child's birthday comes around he or she will be honored at that quarters event - Pump It Up Brithday Club
 

Local Newsletter

The ASLC publishes a quarterly newsletter, which outlines local regulations, information, events and activities sponsored by the chapter and local community as well as stories about chapter members.
 

Local Workshops and Seminars

The ASLC seeks to provide workshops and seminars on a wide range of issues, bringing in nationally known speakers or local professionals. Members also receive discounts on these events.
 

Local Lending Libraries

The ASLC has many great publications to lend on autism topics. We are continually building and developing the libraries in order to keep you better informed on emerging autism trends. We also carry a varity of therapy tools and learning items. Use of the library is FREE to all members.
